Welcome to StreetFoodFinder, your one-stop shop for food truck organization! Looking to bring in trucks for your eaters on a recurring basis? We'd love to help out!
The way things work is that we gather all of your location information and set up your location according to the agreed upon times and dates, then the trucks will self-schedule onto the available dates according to their availability. The system has the mechanisms in place to keep the same trucks from coming back too often, as well as you will have access to a dashboard to help tweak things!
Steps We'll Go through for Daily / Weekly / Monthly Events:
Have a one-time special event? Email [email protected] with your zip code and we'll help connect you with trucks in your area!

There is a dashboard for the location to make simple tweaks to their schedule! We can add up to 3 admins per location. We'll get you set up and rolling within 24-48h of filling out this form (usually much less)!

Secondary Admins:
NOTE: We encourage all locations to have a backup admin in case the primary contact has an emergency. These emails will get notifications for schedule changes and have access to help alter the schedule on the backend. They will also be contacted for monthly updates about your location.
Trucks use this information to decide if they'd like to book your location! Please be sure to provide as accurate information below as possible. If the information provided is incorrect, it can deter trucks from booking your location on and off of StreetFoodFinder!
Location Name *
Location Type *
Total Site Population: *
We're looking for the total number of people onsite, NOT the number of people you estimate will come out to eat! For office/manufacturing complexes, this would be the total number of employees onsite. For residential locations, this would be the number of residents living onsite. As for retail/entertainment type locations, this would be the average number of patrons your business has during a food truck event. If you are unsure of the exact number of people onsite, please estimate with your best guess.
How certain are you of the previous question's response? *
I'm guessing
I'm 100% certain
Is the location open to the general public or private to only your patrons? *
i.e. Are trucks allowed to promote and bring in outside guests? If no, please mark private!
While having a budget in place for your food truck events is highly encouraged, it is not required! With or without a budget in place, marketing your events is the most important part of having food trucks out! No one will attend the truck if they don't know that the truck is there! :)
NOTE!
Just a heads-up, most trucks do require at least 40-50+ sales PER EVENT to maintain a recurring schedule and keep them coming back happy if there is no budget in place! In combination, lack of budget and low turnouts can lead to increased cancellations down the line and it being harder for us to get trucks to commit to your location long term.
In the industry, Guaranteed Minimums and Subsidies are used to lower the business risk to the food trucks coming out. Trucks have to pay for gas, supplies, staff, etc for the event no matter what, so if we send them out to a location that does not have a good turnout, they essentially would be losing money to come out and will spread the word to other truckers.
That said, we can work with almost any budget if you opt to go either of these routes!
Who will be paying for meals at each event? *
Are you willing to offer a guaranteed minimum to get more reliable trucks on your schedule? *
Guaranteed Minimum: The way GMs work is that if the truck does not make, say $500, the location that has them out helps make up the difference to get the truck to that number. You set the budget for the GM, but most trucks aren't willing to come out for less than a $500-$700 minimum, as this generally simulates the 40-50 orders it takes to breakeven. With the above example, if the truck only sold $450 in merchandise, the location would pay $50 (or buy $50 worth of food!) to make up the difference! This is not required, but highly encouraged to get the best trucks out!
Hotspot Page - Your Food Truck Schedule
After being set up, you'll get a schedule page (called a “Hotspot”) link and QR code to share with patrons where folks will be able to keep track of the food truck schedule, subscribe to email alerts and more! With built-in marketing meant to supplement your onsite marketing efforts, like email reminders for the food truck days, push notifications when subscribed to your location on the app, and more, you’ll want to get as many subscribers as possible!
Did you have a preference for your StreetFoodFinder URL? We will automatically assign one if not!
URLs are assigned as https://streetfoodfinder.com/YOUR-LOCATION-NAME
Do you understand that you, as the location, will be responsible for promoting food truck events aside from SFF marketing, and lack of onsite marketing can impact our ability to get trucks to come out to your location? *
Please note that we do ask that you market your Hotspot link with every booked event! Can you commit to that? *
Promoting Your Hotspot Page!
The more folks we can get to that Hotspot page that we'll provide, and subscribe to email alerts, the easier time we'll have getting a good variety of food trucks to come out and visit. Be prepared to share that link with any potential eaters in order to get them to subscribe!
If there are any other businesses, office complexes, apartment complexes, or any other types of entities in the area who might benefit from a food truck at your location, we encourage you to share this page with them as well!
To give you some insight on the industry, savory food trucks need 40-50+ entrées sold to breakeven for a typical 2-3h shift! Dessert trucks require double that, at 80-100+ main dishes sold to breakeven for a typical 3h shift.
What is your goal frequency of having trucks out? *
NOTE!
We often see that 10-15% of those onsite will participate in the food truck event if marketed properly, if not sponsored, so we have parameters in place to protect the trucks and the locations we work with. Low numbers can lead to increased cancellations down the line and it being harder for us to fill future dates, so we do typically advise starting with fewer events per month to test the waters unless you’ve had truck events before. We can always up the frequency of events once we have some solid data in!
Are you open to starting with fewer events per month to make sure this is viable for both parties? We’ll keep track of event data and move your events up as we get back solid feedback from the trucks! *
What time should your food truck events be? Please include start and end time for events. *
We recommend no more than 2-3 hours for a single shift without a guaranteed minimum (ex: 11:30am-1:30pm or 5pm-8pm)
What day of the week is your preferred day?*
When should events start and end for the season? Do you want trucks year round? *
The typical food truck season is March/April-October! Some trucks do operate year round in certain areas. :)
Last few things, we promise!
Where should the truck park? Please give as many details as possible, as if you’re speaking to someone that has never been that your location before! :) *
Do you have any trucks scheduled already? These would be any trucks you may have scheduled for any date after today's date.
Please provide the truck name, time, and date - we'll help add them to your calendar page during set up so you can start gathering subscribers!
Is there anything else that SFF should know about your location in respect to food trucks?
Please provide details about any permits needed, COIs, power hookups (if available), special seating for food truck patrons, gate codes, or any other information that may have been missed in this form that a food truck would benefit from knowing or that you need!
